So I saw a few months ago that they were trying to do an American version of the E4 hit show “Skins”, but I never thought it’d go anywhere because let’s face it, Americans are WAY to puritanistic for it ever to work! “Skins” is a show that is a highly exaggerated show about teens and sex and drug use and it’s amazing. Even if they can make the American version as brash and uninhibited as the British version, you’ll never be able to get the same feel from American actors (please if someone can be half as awesome as Joe Dempsie or Nicholas Hoult I’d like to meet them because they both have high standards of awesomeness). But according to “Oh No They Didn’t” casting as in fact begun on the American version of “Skins” and I’m highly not happy about this.
